830 meters above sea level, on Mount Parnassus—the son of Poseidon and Cleodora. In the village with the waterfall and the stone-built square. Among the paths of the Muses and the Nymphs, in search of the Corycian Cave. It was here that the Tsellou family dreamed of Ftalofi. Fire in the fireplace, mountain views, stone and wood. Time stood still, and myth began—continued now by you. Ftalofi! No one had ever seen it, yet everyone spoke wide-eyed of this enchanting spirit.
Children swore they had seen it leaping at dusk among the dense fir trees, and shepherds claimed it answered their flute melodies on the mountain slopes. Whatever the truth, everyone knew it as Ftalofi—though no one could say where the name came from or who first spoke it.
Many believed it meant seven hills, the resting place of Agoriani embraced by Mount Parnassus. Others said only a deer could be swift enough to be everywhere without ever being seen.
Legend or reality, we turned it into a guesthouse, an inn, a home, an embrace… And we hope that our hospitality and the magical landscape will bring it across your path—or into your dreams.
